ra architecture is an award-winning, multi-disciplinary architecture studio providing contemporary and classic architectural solutions for our customers, Australia wide. We specialise in sustainable modern design that prioritises people, place and purpose for projects of all scales, types and objectives.
As a national architectural practice with over 25 years industry experience, we offer a broad range of expertise including consultation, master planning and design, documentation and interior architecture services. From customised high end new buildings, extensions and renovations, to pre-fabricated-modular and affordable housing solutions. Our built works span commercial, residential and retail.

Defining architecture is unusually difficult and deeply personal. It is a language, a form, a political statement, a science, a fantasy, an indulgence, a reflection of culture, and the list continues. Setting aside definitions and meanings, architecture in our practice, for our clients, is about authenticity. Before a single line is drawn, our role is to listen and connect. This is our starting point, and over 25 years of practice this approach has yielded the most meaningful results.
We design for the internal experience of the client. An inside out approach that foregrounds feeling. How do textures, colours, shapes, angles, materials, light conspire to alter our senses, to shape-shift our relationship with ourselves, with each other and with the environment.
We believe that the journey to building any great structure requires respectful and dynamic collaboration with our clients – a figurative and literal space where collective passion, unbridled imagination and technical consideration are fully integrated.
